Some months ago the media announced to the world that the new Thin Pill would be available to the obese and the grossly overweight. This new breed of diet pill should be with us in a decade or so…
Students at the UCL (University College London) are researching and developing a diet pill that makes a person full after eating a tiny portion of food. The UCL are obviously not aware of Hoodia Gordonii or Phentermine
The Thin Pill is aimed toward achieving the same dramatic results that can be achieved by gastric banding or gastroplasty (stomach stapling) – a process whereby the stomach is restricted from expanding by way of a medical procedure.
The obvious problem with gastroplasy is that surgery can be risky with 1 out of every 100 patients dying within 12 months – a side effect that not even the most determined dieter would risk.

What Is The Thin Pill
As yet unnamed – but the Thin Pill as brand name should be considered as it would be a marketeers dream. It is being described as chemical gastric banding – or gastric banding without the gastric band. The Thin Pill shouldn’t be confused with Thinz Diet Pills

The weight loss world is almost in agreement that eating too much is the main course of weight gain – and by reverse engineering this theory the best way to lose weight is to eat less food.
Stopping the need or want for food be it mental or physical is the obvious answer to the obesity crisis.

Probably, almost definately. Suppressing the appetite is not new, in fact it is positively ancient with African and Indian tribespeople using natural plant extracts to control their hunger.
So until then we will just have to make do with the thousands of other new breeds of diet pills that offer us weight loss and a slender body but without the ten year wait.
